Ferrari has unveiled the Ferrari Amalfi Spider, a soft-top open-top variant of the Ferrari Amalfi. It is a front-mid-engine twin-turbo V8 2+ spider that is set to succeed the Roma Spider.
The Amalfi Spider shares its 640 PS twin-turbo V8 engine, dual-cockpit interior layout, and 2+ seating configuration with the Amalfi coupé. The primary distinction is the fabric soft top, which opens in 13.5 seconds and can be operated at speeds of up to 60 km/h.
Exterior

The Amalfi Spider’s design closely follows the Amalfi coupé, retaining the same sculpted bonnet, large front air intake, active rear spoiler, forged wheels, and carbon fibre details. The soft top is available in four tailor-made fabric colours and two technical fabric options, including the new Tecnico Ottanio. Optional contrast stitching is available. When the roof is stowed, the technical fabric can extend over the tonneau and adjacent rear surfaces for visual continuity.

The launch colour for the Amalfi Spider is Rosso Tramonto, a new exclusive shade with subtle orange undertones, joining Verde Costiera which was introduced with the Amalfi coupé.

When folded, the soft top measures just 220 mm thick. Boot capacity is 255 litres with the roof closed and 172 litres with the roof open. The five-layer acoustic fabric delivers soundproofing and thermal insulation comparable to a retractable hard top.
Interior

The cabin carries over the Amalfi coupé’s dual-cockpit layout, with the instrument cluster and air vents integrated into a single monolithic block. The central tunnel is machined from solid aluminium and houses the primary controls. Door panels feature a sail motif integrating handles and armrests. Selected interior components — including the tonneau cover, door panels, and seatbacks — can be trimmed in the same fabric as the soft top.
An integrated wind deflector, built into the rear bench backrest and activated at the touch of a button, reduces cockpit turbulence during open-top driving. It can be operated at speeds of up to 170 km/h.

The HMI (human machine interface) system comprises of three displays: a 15.6-inch digital driver display, a 10.25-inch central capacitive touchscreen, and an 8.8-inch passenger display showing parameters such as G-forces and engine revs. The steering wheel features physical buttons and the return of the iconic anodised aluminium start button. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, alongside wireless smartphone charging and the MyFerrari Connect remote monitoring system.
Powertrain
The Amalfi Spider uses the same 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 from Ferrari’s F154 engine family as the Amalfi coupé, producing 640 PS at 7,500 rpm and 760 Nm between 3,000 and 5,750 rpm, with a redline at 7,600 rpm. Power goes to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Performance figures are 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 9.4 seconds, and a top speed of 320 km/h. Dry weight is 1,556 kg with a weight-to-power ratio of 2.42 kg/PS. Weight distribution is 48% front and 52% rear.

The Amalfi Spider carries over the Amalfi coupé’s brake-by-wire system, ABS Evo, Side Slip Control (SSC) 6.1, and EPS-based grip estimation system. The Manettino offers five positions: Wet, Comfort, Sport, Race, and ESC-Off. The active rear spoiler operates across three configurations: Low Drag, Medium Downforce, and High Downforce. generating up to 110 kg of additional downforce at 250 km/h in HD mode with less than a 4% drag increase.
The Amalfi Spider rides on 20-inch wheels with 245/35R20 at the front and 285/35R20 at the rear. Three tyre options are available as standard, co-developed with Ferrari: Pirelli P ZERO, Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport, and Bridgestone Potenza Sport.
