Leapmotor has released a new over-the-air (OTA) software update for the Leapmotor B10, which adds several new features to improve connectivity and safety.
This OTA update (LeapOS 3.41.22) comes six months after the launch of the Leapmotor B10 in Malaysia, and it brings with it One-Pedal driving capability, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, enhanced voice command functions, and a host of refinements.

One-Pedal mode driving, as the name suggests, allows most acceleration and deceleration to be controlled directly through the accelerator pedal alone. The improved energy recovery logic contributes to smoother control and improved efficiency.
Furthermore, this OTA update also allows drivers to customize the steering wheel buttons with new multifunction settings, including shortcuts to ADAS features and drive modes.

Navigation details can also be displayed via a newly-introduced left side split screen layout, improving visibility when using multiple applications. There’s also a new “Quick Start” function baked into the infotainment system, allowing it to boot up quicker than before.
Deployment of this new OTA update started in early-February, and is rolling out in stages to B10 customers. Drivers will receive an in-vehicle notification when the OTA update is available and can be installed directly through the car’s infotainment system – there’s no need to visit service centres.
