Pro-Net, a wholly owned subsidiary of Proton, has added Emerald Green as a new colour option for the Proton eMas 7 PHEV, effective 1 April 2026. Bookings for the new colour are open immediately.

The Proton eMas 7 PHEV has recorded more than 3,500 bookings in its first six weeks on sale. The addition of Emerald Green brings the model an expanded colour palette alongside its existing options. There’s no change in price with the Emerald Green, with prices starting from:
- eMas 7 PHEV Prime: RM 105,800
- eMas 7 PHEV Premium: RM 119,800
- eMas 7 PHEV Premium Plus: RM 125,800
All prices include Pro-Net’s RM 4,000 launch rebate.
Salawati Yusoff, Chief Branding Officer of Pro-Net, said, “We have seen strong interest from Malaysians in the Proton eMas 7 PHEV, and we are thrilled to introduce another colour to the line-up with Emerald Green. This addition reflects our commitment to giving customers more choice, while complementing the model’s modern design and electrified character.”

She added, “At Pro-Net, we are constantly listening to our customers, learning from their feedback, and evolving our offerings to ensure that owning a Proton eMas 7 PHEV remains a practical, enjoyable, and rewarding experience. The Proton eMas 7 PHEV Prime, for example, is competitively priced at just RM105,800, offering excellent fuel savings, low maintenance costs, a spacious well-appointed interior, and long-term value for Malaysian drivers.”

The Proton eMas 7 PHEV is powered by EM-i Advanced Hybrid Technology, pairing a 1.5-litre hybrid-dedicated engine with an 11-in-1 Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT). The engine achieves a thermal efficiency of up to 46.5%. The system produces 160kW and 262Nm, with an overall powertrain efficiency of 92.5%. Fuel consumption is rated at 4.3L/100km, and Pro-Net claims a 10-year service cost of under RM8,000.

The hybrid system operates across three modes — EV, series hybrid, and parallel hybrid — switching automatically depending on driving conditions. Drivers can also manually select between Pure, Hybrid, and Power driving modes.
