Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY), in partnership with Palm Motor Sdn Bhd, has officially opened a new authorised dealership in Petaling Jaya. The 4,200 sq ft showroom is located at Lot 23-A & 25, Jalan Kemajuan, Seksyen 13, 46200 Petaling Jaya, and carries Hyundai’s current Malaysian lineup including the Santa Fe, Tucson, and Staria.
Eric Lee, President of Hyundai Motor Malaysia, said, “The opening of Hyundai Petaling Jaya marks an important milestone for our network expansion as we’re aiming to have 25 outlets nationwide by the end of 2026. Our goal is to serve customers in Malaysia with greater accessibility, better experiences and meaningful value, driven by our promise — Sentiasa di sisi anda.”

The opening was marked by the first handover of a Hyundai Tucson 1.6T HEV to a customer at the event. Palm Motor Sdn Bhd has been part of the Hyundai dealer network since 2002.

To celebrate the opening, Palm Motor is hosting a Grand Launching Bonanza at the showroom from 10 to 12 April, 10am to 6pm daily. Highlights include a lucky draw with prizes worth up to RM 10,000 — including an iPhone 17 as the grand prize, a Sharp 40-inch Smart TV as second prize, and Xiaomi Portable Bluetooth Speakers as third prize, alongside consolation prizes such as dashcams, free service packages, window tint packages, petrol vouchers, and Touch ‘n Go cards. One winner will also receive an all-expenses-paid trip for two to a major international football match. The showroom is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm, and Sunday and public holidays from 10am to 5pm.
