MINI Malaysia has officially unveiled two exclusive special edition models: the MINI 1965 Victory Edition and the MINI John Cooper Works GP Inspired Edition.
What is the MINI 1965 Victory Edition?
Built on the MINI John Cooper Works Electric platform, this edition commemorates the classic Mini Cooper S victory at the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally driven by Timo Mäkinen.

The electric motor outputs 190 kW (258 PS) and 350 Nm, powered by a 49.2-kWh battery pack. Performance figures include a 0-100 km/h time of 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 200 km/h. Under the WLTP test cycle, the MINI JCW EV returns up to 371 km.
AC charging goes up to 11-kW, while DC charging peaks at 95-kW. With DC fast charging, it takes 30 minutes to recharge from 10% to 80% state-of-charge (SoC).

Separating the MINI 1965 Victory Edition includes a Chili Red paintjob with a white trim stripe flowing from bonnet to rear. Said limited edition model also features the winning number “52” in white graphics on the doors and “1965” C-pillar decals. There’s also 18-inch JCW Mastery Spoke wheels finished in black.

Inside, the MINI 1965 Victory Edition gets bespoke door sills, a JCW anthracite and red racing cockpit, “1965” lettering on the steering wheel and center console, and a custom key cap bearing the historic racing number.
