At the Zeekr booth at the ongoing 2026 Beijing Auto Show, Zeekr has debuted the improved Zeekr 009, encompassing several quality-of-life updates.
First things first – the line-up has been rejigged to three variants for the Chinese market:
- Zeekr 009 Ultra 7-seater
- Zeekr 009 Ultra+ 7-seater
- Zeekr 009 Ultra+ 6-seater
Then there’s the new 900-volt electrical architecture, which works in conjunction with the new dual-motor setup, pushing out a combined system output of 925 PS. Other performance stats include a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 220 km/h.

But it’s not just performance stats that Zeekr has improved upon, as the overall efficiency of the 009 has been further enhanced. Zeekr mentioned that rear-wheel drive variants offer a CLTC-rated efficiency of 93.7%, as well as highway efficiency improvement by 4% and urban efficiency by 6%.
Powering the updated Zeekr 009 is the new battery pack, which takes just 10 minutes to recharge from 10% to 80% state-of-charge (SoC) – sufficient to net you 510 km.
Other highlights include a new dual-chamber continuous control damping (CCD) system, soft Nappa leather upholstery with multi-angle adjustment, as well as ventilation and heating function. The ADAS suite now gets the nVidia Drive Thor-U chip, offering 700 TOPs and 31 sensors.
There’s also the Naim sound system that Zeekr calls a 7.2.7.8 system, featuring 7 surround round speakers, 2 subwoofers, 7 ceiling speakers, and 8 head rest speakers.
Zeekr also pointed out that the 009 has been the MPV sales champion in several countries, including in Hong Kong, Thailand, and Malaysia in 2025. Could this new and improved Zeekr 009 arrive in Malaysia? Time will tell.
