WTC Automotif (WTCA), the official distributor and assembler of GAC vehicles in Malaysia, has updated the 2026 GAC GS3 Emzoom with a revised front grille and a new two-tone colour option for the Premium R variant.
The redesigned front grille adopts what GAC calls a “Flowing Diamond Star” pattern. Colour options now stand at four: Graphite Grey with Black Roof, Super Star Silver with Black Roof, Frost White with Black Roof, and Asphalt Black — the latter two being single-tone options.
Under the bonnet, nothing changes. The Emzoom carries over its 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder producing 177 PS and 270 Nm, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. GAC claims a 0-100 km/h time of 8.0 seconds and fuel consumption of 5.9L/100km.
Equipment stays the same too: dual digital screens, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, and Full Automatic Parking Assist (FAPA) are all carried over. The Premium R variant retains its switchable sports exhaust and aero kit.
Pricing is unchanged at RM 116,800 for the Exclusive and RM 126,800 for the Premium R, both on-the-road without insurance for Peninsular Malaysia. For a limited time, rebates of up to RM 18,500 are available, with monthly installments from RM912.
The GS3 Emzoom is backed by a 5-year/150,000km vehicle warranty and a 7-year/180,000km engine and transmission warranty, sold through GAC’s network of 23 showrooms and 45 service centres nationwide. Test drives are available from 9- to 10-May.
