Chery Malaysia offers 50 cars as support to Putra Heights fire victims

Chery Corporate Malaysia is stepping forward to assist victims of the devastating gas incident in Putra Heights, Selangor, which has displaced over 100 families and disrupted lives.

Beyond ensuring safety on the road, Chery is committed to supporting communities in times of need. To aid affected families, the company has launched a vehicle loan programme, providing 50 vehicles for temporary transportation, helping them regain stability and access essential services.

Chery Corporate Malaysia is working closely with Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, Selangor State Exco for Investment, Trade, and Mobility YB Ng Sze Han, and local authorities overseeing the relief efforts.

“We understand that many need to go to work. Some of them have to send their children to school. So Chery is lending 50 cars… the application can start in the next few days,” YB Ng Sze Han told MalayMail.
