Jetour Auto Malaysia has announced the arrival of the first batch of the Jetour Dashing SUV in Malaysia, marking the official entry of this new C-segment SUV into the market.
“This is a significant moment for Jetour and Malaysian drivers,” said Mr. Fu Yong, CEO of Jetour Auto Malaysia. “The arrival of these Jetour Dashing vehicles demonstrates our commitment to the Malaysian market and our response to the incredible enthusiasm we’ve seen from customers.”

Customers who placed their pre-orders since May 2024 can expect deliveries following the official launch event on April 9. Jetour Malaysia assures that all pre-order customers will receive their vehicles on schedule.
Meanwhile, CKD (completely knocked down) local assembly of the Jetour Dashing is set to begin in late-May.
To support its growing customer base, Jetour Auto Malaysia has already established over 20 service centers nationwide. The company also plans to expand with more than 10 new 3S and 4S centers in 2025.

As for Jetour’s first model in Malaysia, the Dashing will be available across two variants – Prime & Signature.
The Prime offers equipment such as LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED tail lights, powered tailgate, dual 10.25-inch displays, 50W wireless charging, and a powered driver seat.
Stepping up to the Signature adds a panoramic sunroof, 4-way powered passenger seat, ambient lighting, and additional ADAS kit, such as Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Lane Change Assist (LCA), Lane Change Warning (LCW), and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). There’s also a 360-degree camera that’s only available on the Signature variant.

The Jetour Dashing is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 156 PS and 230 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT). It features a front-wheel-drive (FWD) layout.
In terms of dimensions, the Jetour Dashing is 4,590 mm long, 1,900 mm wide, and 1,685 mm tall. Its wheelbase is 2,720 mm long. This puts the Dashing marginally longer than rivals like the Proton X70 (4,526 mm long) or Mazda CX-5 (4,575 mm long), only shorter than the Honda CR-V (4,691 mm long).
Stay tuned for the launch of the Jetour Dashing.
