In conjunction with its 15th anniversary, Porsche Malaysia, represented by Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) has launched the updated 2025 Porsche 911, codenamed 992.2, in Malaysia. At launch, the 2025 Porsche 911 is available in the form of the 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera 4 GTS.
Prices start from RM 1.43 million for the 911 Carrera, while the 911 Carrera 4 GTS is priced from RM 1.89 million.

For the first time ever, the Porsche is available with a hybrid powertrain called T-Hybrid. In the 911 Carrera 4 GTS, it gets an electric motor that’s integrated between the compressor and turbine wheel, which instantaneously brings the turbocharger up to speed, building up boost.
Propulsion for the 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS comes from a newly-developed 3.6-litre six-cylinder boxer engine that’s mated to the new Porsche T-Hybrid system. The boxer engine is good for 485 PS and 570 Nm, while combined system output is 541 PS and 610 Nm. Thanks to the new T-Hybrid system, the 992.2 Carrera 4 GTS is able to complete the century sprint in 3 seconds flat, before reaching a top speed of 312 km/h.

Handling enhancements on the 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS include rear-axle steering as standard, as well as sport suspension with a variable damper system (PASM) and a 10 mm lower ride height.
The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS wears 245/34ZR20 wheels up front, and 315/30ZR21 wheels at the rear. Up to seven wheel designs are available for the Carrera 4 GTS.

As for the 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera that you see here, it continues to be powered by a twin turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder boxer engine, though extensively revamped, adopting the intercooler from the more potent Turbo models. The new intercooler works in conjunction with the new turbochargers, which were once reserved for the GTS models, enables the new 911 Carrera to bump up power output to 394 PS and 450 Nm. The century sprint is completed in just 4.1 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 294 km/h.

The exterior of the 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera is fitted with matrix LED headlights as standard, though customers can opt for HD matrix LED headlights.
While the 911 Carrera looks similar to the pre-facelifted model, the 911 Carrera 4 GTS’ exterior now gets five vertically-arranged active cooling air flaps. There are also adaptive front diffusers underneath the car, which are controlled together with the cooling air flaps. These help to optimize air flow and cooling when needed.

Inside, for the first time ever, the Porsche 911 now gets a fully digital instrument cluster, which allows Porsche to offer seven different layouts.
Porsche Communication Management (PCM) continues to handle infotainment duties, which is accessible via the 10.9-inch display. Apple CarPlay now has deeper integration with the 911, as drivers can now choose to show information from CarPlay to the instrument cluster.

The new 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera will be available as a coupé with a rear-wheel drive layout, while the 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS is available as both a coupé and Targa, with all-wheel drive as standard.
Those interested in the 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera can view the car at the Central Exchange, in The Exchange TRX Mall, from 11 April 2025 to 13 April 2025. Alternatively, customers can also contact the nearest Porsche Centre or visit https://bit.ly/911-The-one-and-always.
