Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd (HMBS) has just opened bookings for the new 2025 Honda HR-V facelift, with the launch set to take place in Q3 2025.

The Honda HR-V made its debut in Malaysia back in 2015 and has gone on to be the country’s best-selling B-segment SUV. As of May 2025, HMSB has sold more than 169,000 units of the HR-V.

What’s new on the 2025 Honda HR-V facelift?

New features on the facelifted 2025 Honda HR-V include a minimalist front grille, 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and full LED tail light – all exclusive for the top-spec HR-V e:HEV RS variant.

As before, the RV-generation Honda HR-V gets the choice of three powertrain options:

  • Naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre four-cylinder: 121 PS and 145 Nm
  • Turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder: 181 PS and 240 Nm
  • Petrol-electric hybrid 1.5-litre four-cylinder: 131 PS and 253 Nm

Additionally, the new 2025 Honda HR-V facelift will be getting Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB) and Active Cornering Light (ACL), which complements the Honda Sensing ADAS suite. That said, HMSB did not mention if ADB and ACL will be standard across the range, or exclusive to upper variants.
