Following its debut at the MY BMW World 2025, BMW Malaysia has finally confirmed prices of the 2025 BMW 218 Gran Coupe Sport.
Priced from RM 218,800, the locally-assembled (CKD) compact four-door coupe brings refreshed design, updated cabin, and additional features.
With the optional BMW Service & Repair Inclusive (BSRI) package selected, the price increases to RM 240,500. BSRI adds a 5-year, unlimited mileage warranty and a 5-year/100,000-km service package, while the base price includes a 2-year unlimited mileage warranty.

What do I need to know about the 2025 BMW 218 Gran Coupe Sport?
As a brief recap, the Malaysian-spec 2025 BMW 218 Gran Coupe Sport is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that pushes out 156 PS and 230 Nm. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends drive to the front wheels.
While the overall silhouette is reminiscent of the previous-generation F44 model, there are a number of improvements and upgrades in the new F74-generation model seen here.
Up front the new 2025 BMW 218 Gran Coupe Sport gets BMW’s latest dual-vertical LED daytime running lights and Adaptive LED headlights being the most prominent. The signature BMW Kidney Grille is also present here, which gets an intricate vertical and slanting grille inserts.
The sides of the F74-generation 218 Gran Coupe Sport get the same Hoffmeister kink at the rear, but with the numeral 2 embossed on it – taking a leaf out from the G60-generation 5 Series.
It’s the same towards the rear – while the overall design may take design cues from the larger 5 Series, the smaller sibling gets LED tail lights with similar vertical slats like the front, drawing inspiration from the F44 model.

Despite being BMW Malaysia’s entry-level model, the cabin is well appointed. There’s a pair of LCD screens up front – a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster for the driver, as well as a 10.7-inch infotainment display, running on BMW Operating System 9.
Additionally, the cabin includes Sports seats with memory, wrapped in Veganza leather upholstery, Qi wireless charging pad, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, and a three-spoke steering wheel.
Safety kit includes Driving Assistant with Lane Change Warning, Speed Limit Info, Rear Crossing Traffic Alert with brake intervention, Exit Warning, Reverse Emergency Braking, and Predictive Forward Collision Warning. Additionally, there’s also Parking Assistant that includes Reversing Assistant.
Only three body colours are offered on this locally-assembled (CKD) 2025 BMW 218 Gran Coupe Sport: Alpine White, Black Sapphire, and the one you see here, Cape York Green.
