MG Motor Malaysia has announced a historic milestone as the No. 1 best-selling market for the MG Cyberster across Asia and Oceania.
As the world’s first fully-electric soft-top roadster with scissor doors, the MG Cyberster has managed to capture the hearts of customers.
More than 90 orders received for the 2025 MG Cyberster since launch
Since the model was launched here back in December 2024, MG Motor Malaysia has achieved an incredible feat with over 90 orders received, making Malaysia the top-performing market for the Cyberster in this region.
Moreover, this eye-catching roadster has earned global acclaim with prestigious accolades such as the Good Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award, and the iF Design Award.

As a brief recap, prices of the MG Cyberster start from RM 299,900 for the rear-wheel drive variant and RM 319,900 for the all-wheel drive variant. Both prices are on-the-road, without insurance.
The rear-wheel variant features a rear-mounted electric motor that serves 340 PS and 475 Nm, while the AWD variant adds a front-mounted electric motor, bringing the total system output to 544 PS and 725 Nm.
Regardless of variant, the MG Cyberster features a CATL-sourced 77-kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery pack. Under the WLTP test cycle, the Cyberster RWD returns a range of up to 508 km. The AWD variant offers a 444 km range under the same test cycle.

Performance figure includes a 0-100 km/h time of just 5.0 seconds for the RWD variant, while the AWD variant shaves that figure to 3.2 seconds.
MG Motor Malaysia will also be hosting a series of exclusive test drive events at selected locations nationwide.
