MG Motor Malaysia has confirmed that its first all-electric roadster, the 2025 MG Cyberster, will be parading at the upcoming 68th Merdeka Day Parade in Putrajaya on 31-August 2025.
The MG Cyberster will join the EV car contingent led by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), parading alongside other electric vehicle brands in a show of support for Malaysia’s electrification agenda and the government’s push towards sustainable mobility.

Distinguished by a special MITI decal, the 2025 MG Cyberster stands out as the only all-electric roadster in the contingent. MG highlights the Cyberster as a modern interpretation of its British sports car heritage, blending tradition with forward-looking EV innovation.
