Takashi Sakamaki has been appointed as Mitsubishi Motor Malaysia's new CEO

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has announced that the company has appointed Takashi Sakamaki as its new CEO. Sakamaki takes over from Shinya Ikeda, who was MMM’s CEO since October 2021.

Sakamaki has more than 20 years of international experience in the automotive industry, which includes business strategy, export operations, and market development across markets such as China, Indonesia, and Mexico.

During his tenure in Mitsubishi Corporation, Sakamaki has held several senior positions, leading business development, managed CBU exports, and expanded OEM supply.
