The lightly-camouflaged car was finished in silver, replete with the signature 21-inch five-spoke alloy wheels. Other tell-tale clues include the front fascia with its quad LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and boxy design.

What is the 2025 iCaur V23?

A couple of months back, iCaur Malaysia previewed the 2025 iCaur V23 at the Malaysia Autoshow (MAS 2025), though that unit was a left-hand drive sample. Said V23 was previewed alongside the iCaur 03.

Regardless of its steering layout, the 2025 iCaur V23 can be had with two powertrain configurations.

The first is a rear-wheel drive layout, comprising of a rear-mounted electric motor that does 136 PS and 180 Nm, powered by a CATL-sourced 59.93-kWh LFP battery pack. Under the CLTC test cycle, this battery pack allows for a range of up to 401 km.

It takes about 11 seconds for the RWD V23 to complete the century sprint, before reaching a top speed of 140 km/h.

DC fast charging goes up to 85 kW, which can recharge the battery from 30% to 80% state-of-charge (SoC) in about 30 minutes.

As for the more powerful AWD variant, it adds a front motor that brings the combined system output to 211 PS and 292 Nm, thus lowering the century sprint time to 7.5 seconds. Top speed is the same at 140 km/h.

The AWD variant also offers a larger CATL-sourced 81.76-kWh NMC battery pack, which accepts up to 104 kW of DC fast charging (30% to 80% SoC is about 20 minutes). AC charging for both variants is rated at 6.6 kW.

The 2025 iCaur V23 has made its ASEAN debut in Thailand, where the model is sold as the Chery V23. Said EV SUV is available across three variants, with prices ranging between THB 699,900 (~RM 91k) for the V23 Play variant, THB 759,900 (~RM 99k) for the V23 Plus, and tops out at THB 889,900 (~RM 116k) for the V23 Peak.
