
Following the recent launch of the refreshed 2026 Volvo XC60 and the introduction of the 2026 Volvo EC40 Single-Motor, Volvo Car Malaysia has now completed updates across its entire range for model year 2026.

Additionally, the company also hinted at the imminent arrival of the 2026 Volvo ES90, the company’s first fully-electric sedan.

Refreshed 2026 Volvo XC60 now priced from RM 328,888

The refreshed 2026 Volvo XC60, first revealed last month, brings subtle design and technology updates to Volvo’s popular SUV. It now features a sportier new grille design and air suspension.
Pricing for the updated XC60 has been confirmed as follows:
- 2026 Volvo XC60 B5 AWD MHEV– RM 328,888
- 2026 Volvo XC60 T8 AWD PHEV – RM 362,888

The XC60 T8 plug-in hybrid delivers up to 89 km of pure electric range (WLTP), ideal for daily commutes or city errands, while its combined 450 Nm of torque ensures effortless performance. Meanwhile, the XC60 B5 mild hybrid offers a simpler, plug-free solution with enhanced fuel efficiency.
Single-motor EC40 joins the range

For model year 2026, the Volvo EC40, the brand’s first electric-only crossover SUV, now gains a single-motor variant, priced from RM 248,888 (OTR without insurance).
Offered exclusively in Ultra trim, the new EC40 variant is powered by a rear-mounted 175 kW (238 PS) electric motor, enabling a 0–100 km/h time of 7.3 seconds. Power comes from a 70-kWh battery, offering up to 488 km of WLTP-rated range, and supports DC fast charging from 10–80% in just 26 minutes.

A new Sand Dune exterior colour, inspired by Sweden’s west coast, also debuts on the EC40, joining Aurora Silver, Onyx Black, and Crystal White in the lineup.

New colours and updates for the Volvo XC90

Volvo’s flagship SUV, the 2026 Volvo XC90, also receives light updates for model year 2026. It’s now available in a new Aurora Silver colour option, joining the existing Onyx Black, Denim Blue, and Crystal White finishes.
Two powertrain options remain on offer — the XC90 Ultra T8 PHEV and the XC90 Ultra B5 MHEV:
- XC90 Ultra T8 – RM 434,888, 462 PS, 709 Nm, fuel consumption as low as 1.8 L/100 km
- XC90 Ultra B5 – RM 418,888, 249 PS, 350 Nm
Both variants feature Volvo’s Ultra trim, which includes:
- 11.2-inch centre display with next-generation Volvo UX
- 12.3-inch digital driver display and head-up display
- Pilot Assist with adaptive cruise control
- 360-degree camera system
- Bowers & Wilkins High Fidelity audio system
- Ventilated, powered front seats with massage and memory function
- Panoramic sunroof and quad-zone climate control

The model year 2026 range also introduces the Volvo Car UX, the brand’s next-generation infotainment interface. Available as standard across all 2026 models globally, it brings a more refined layout with larger icons, dynamic shortcuts, and contextual menus. For example, drive modes appear automatically at startup, while camera shortcuts appear when parking.
