
SAIC Motor Malaysia has announced that the company has revised prices of the 2025 MG S5 EV.Prices of the 2025 MG S5 EV are as follow:
- 2025 MG S5 EV COM: RM 107,900
- 2025 MG S5 EV COM Long Range: RM 117,900
- 2025 MG S5 EV LUX Long Range: RM 127,900
All prices are exclusive of registration fees (RM 300), H/P ownership claim fee (RM 50), number plate (RM 98), and CBU inspection and handling fee (RM 200).

What’s unchanged is the powertrain options. Regardless of variant, the MG S5 EV gets a rear-mounted electric motor that does 170 PS and 250 Nm.


The COM variant offers the choice of a 49-kWh or a 62-kWh battery pack, delivering up to 340 km and 430 km of WLTP range respectively. The LUX is fitted exclusively with a 62-kWh battery pack.

In terms of charging, the variants with the 62-kWh battery accept DC fast charging up to 150 kW, which can charge the battery from 10% to 80% state-of-charge (SoC) in just 26 minutes. The 49-kWh variant takes up to 120 kW of DC charging, enabling a 10% to 80% SoC in 24 minutes.
All variants of the 2025 MG S5 EV come with the Ultimate Ownership Package, offering savings of up to RM 10,000, which includes a complimentary 7-kW AC wallbox charger or the option to select charging credits.


Customers seeking greater flexibility can also explore the MG Ultimate Financing Package, designed to provide personalised financing solutions through authorised MG dealers nationwide.
