The customer satisfaction is also reflected in the sales of GWM Malaysia’s models – the GWM Haval H6 HEV is the No. 2 Hybrid SUV in Malaysia and the No. 1 Chinese Hybrid SUV

Moving forwards, GWM Malaysia will continue its philosophy of “All Powertrains. All Scenarios. All Users.” to Malaysians, offering a broad range of options of powertrains.

Cui Anqi, Managing Director of GWM Malaysia said, “Malaysia is one of GWM’s most dynamic and promising markets in Southeast Asia.In just three years, we have built a strong foundation of trust, innovation, and local engagement. Moving forward, we are committed to deepening localisation, expanding our product line-up, and enhancing the ownership experience.”

Pushing CKD efforts in Malaysia, and introducing Hi4

As part of GWM Malaysia’s long-term sustainability for Malaysia, the company will further its efforts in local assembly (CKD) works, expanding dealer network, and introduce New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), from hybrids to full EVs and beyond.

The introduction of the GWM Wey G9 will mark the arrival of GWM’s Hi4 technology in Malaysia. Short for Hybrid Intelligent 4-Wheel Drive, Hi4 features a regular combustion engine up front and an e-axle at the rear, which not only improves grip in wet conditions, but also improves performance and assists the petrol engine when necessary, ie hill climbs.

“GWM is not here for the short term. We are here to build long-term trust with Malaysians through our products, our people, and our partnerships,” said Roslan Abdullah, Chief Operating Officer of GWM Malaysia. “Our focus is on delivering genuine value, not just in price but in experience, quality, and care.”
