2026 is set to be an interesting year for smart, the joint venture between Geely and Mercedes-Benz. Following the teaser of the handsome-looking smart #6, it looks like the next agenda on smart’s to-do list is reviving the iconic smart ForTwo.
Tentatively called the smart #2, these teaser photos that were released by smart does little to reveal details surrounding its upcoming city car, but the overall silhouette is unmistakable.

Zoom in and we noticed that the upcoming smart #2 will likely take lots of inspiration from the iconic ForTwo, including the two-door design, short bonnet, and a roof line that tapers off sharply.

Production for the smart #2, like other smart models currently on sale, will be in China for the global market.
