Our neighbour down South recently launched the Honda Super-One. This cutesy EV is a souped-up, widened version of the Japan-market Honda N-One e:. Credit goes to our reader Ming that traveled to Singapore to attend the Singapore Motorshow.

For customers in Singapore, the Honda Super-One is priced at SGD 178,999 (~RM 578k, inclusive of COE worth SGD 90,000). As a point of reference, the Honda HR-V is priced at SGD 181,999 (~RM 576k, with COE premium worth SGD 102,009).

Powering the Honda Super-One is an electric motor that does 70 kW (90 PS) and 162 Nm, powered by a 29.6-kWh battery pack that’s shared with the Honda N-One e:, as the charging times are identical – the charging from 20% to 80% state-of-charge (SoC) time takes 30 minutes.

Under the WLTP test cycle, Honda says that the N-One e: returns 295 km. Considering that it is more powerful with more aerodynamic bits, the Super-One’s range should be slightly less than its kei brethren.
Versus its plebian kei brethren, the Super-One features a Boost mode for its 70 kW electric motor, as well as enabling seven simulated gear shifts, much like the Honda Prelude. There’s also Active Sound Control that creates fake engine noise.
As for us in Malaysia, there is a good chance of this souped-up EV reaching our shores, as a test mule was spotted in Malaysia in late-2025.
