
Jetour Auto Malaysia is gearing up to the local debut of the Jetour T1 in the country – initial teasers dropped in March, while the model made an appearance at the recent Penang Auto Show.
Now, Jetour Auto Malaysia has just opened bookings for its upcoming C-segment SUV, with an estimated price of RM 143,800 for the 1.5L TGDi variant and RM 153,800 for the 2.0L TGDi variant.

What do we get with the Jetour T1?

Starting with the entry-level 1.5L TGDi variant, standard equipment includes the aforementioned engine, which produces 184 PS at 5,500 rpm and 290 Nm of torque between 2,000 rpm to 4,000 rpm.

Said engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic that sends power to the front wheels.

Additionally, the entry-level variant also offers full LED headlights and LED tail lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, power tailgate, leatherette seats, powered driver seat, 12.8-inch infotainment display that pumps audio through an 8-speaker sound system, as well as a 360-degree camera.
Safety is backed by 6 airbags and Level 2 ADAS.

Stepping to the more potent Jetour T1 2.0L, and it offers a more powerful 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that does 254 PS at 5,500 rpm and 375 Nm of torque between 1,750 rpm to 4,500 rpm.

Like the 1.5L variant, the 2.0L variant also features a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, though this variant offers Jetour’s XWD (X Wheel Drive) all-wheel drive system. Like the Jetour T2, the T1’s XWD system features seven drive modes, including Normal, Sport, Snow, Mud, Sand, Rock, and Eco.

The upper variant features larger 19-inch alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, front passenger power seat, and a larger 15.6-inch infotainment display that pumps audio through a Sony-branded 9-speaker sound system.
Colour options for both Jetour T1 variants include Aviation Silver, Carbon Black, Khaki White, and Sand Gold.
