Exterior

The refreshed 2025 XPeng G6 facelift sports sharper aerodynamics and a more refined look. The front features a full-width Starlight Wing LED light bar with integrated turn signals, while the XPeng logo has been repositioned onto the bonnet in matte gray.

Towards the rear, there is a redesigned diffuser and new ducktail spoiler, which work hand-in-hand to improve high-speed stability. The wheel arches are now body-coloured, which replaces the black ones on the pre-facelift model. Buyers can choose from five exterior colours, namely: Arctic White, Graphite Gray, Midnight Black, Silver Frost, and Stellar Purple.

As noted in an earlier post, the 2025 XPeng G6 facelift receives new petal-design alloy wheels, replacing the twin five-spoke units on the pre-facelift model. What’s unchanged are the measurements: the wheels are 20 inches, wrapped in 255/45R20 tyres all-round.

Additionally, the Black Edition is available exclusively with the AWD Performance variant. It features a black XPeng logo, 20-inch gloss black alloys, and black brake calipers.
Interior

Inside, the cabin has been overhauled, including a new dashboard design, ambient lighting, and steering wheel with capacitive buttons. The updated cabin can now finished in Light Gray or Dark Grey, depending on customer taste.

Comfort levels have also been raised. The front seats now offer massage, lumbar support, heating, and ventilation functions, while rear passengers benefit from a 12-level reclining design for sofa-like comfort. A panoramic star sunroof further brightens the spacious cabin.

The infotainment display now measures 15.6-inch, an increase over the outgoing model’s 14.9-inch unit. While the measurement of the digital instrument cluster remains unchanged at 10.25 inches, it has been repositioned into a floating-style design. The displays are driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 system-on-chip (SoC).

XPeng has also redesigned the air-conditioning vents, simplifying the design even further. The previously multi-slat design now makes way for a simpler-looking single-slat design, which gives the cabin a more minimalist and less cluttered look.

Powertrain
The new 2025 XPeng G6 facelift is powered by XPeng’s 800V SiC LFP architecture, marking the world’s first 5C LFP upgrade. This cobalt- and nickel-free setup improves durability, efficiency, and sustainability.

Both the Long Range Pro and AWD Performance variants use an upgraded 80.5-kWh LFP battery pack, replacing the previous 87.5 kWh NMC unit. Charging is where the G6 sets a benchmark: it supports up to 451 kW DC fast charging, reducing the 10% to 80% state-of-charge (SoC) charging time to just 12 minutes.

Range is up to 525 km WLTP on a single charge for the RWD variant, while the AWD variant offers up to 510 km.
Safety and Technology
XPeng has equipped the G6 with a fully upgraded intelligent driving suite, including a capacitive steering wheel and XPeng’s self-developed Turing AI chip that improves accuracy, clarity, and perception range. Driver assistance features include adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and automated parking.

The battery is housed within a reinforced safety frame and protected by ballistic-grade armour, capable of withstanding 1,000˚C heat and 80 tonnes of side crush force. XPeng claims battery life is extended by 30%, offering improved durability and safety assurance.
