Bookings are now opened for iCaur’s second retro-futuristic EV SUV, with the model carrying an estimated price of RM 145k for the 2WD variant, to RM 155k for the iWD (AWD) variant.

Like the 2025 iCaur 03, iCaur Malaysia will be offering two variants of the V23.

What is the 2026 iCaur V23?

The 2026 iCaur V23, like its sibling, the iCaur 03, is iCaur’s take on retro-futuristic SUVs, popularized by models like the Mercedes-Benz G-Class and Suzuki Jimny.

Unlike the 03, the iCaur V23 takes the retro-futuristic them a notch higher – the round headlights and wide front bumper are what gives the V23 its signature funky looks.

Moreover, there’s a storage box in place of a spare wheel, handy for keeping small items. The EV SUV’s third brake light is also positioned in this storage box.

There’s also side steps to ease ingress and egress and black finishing on the side mirrors, fender trim piece.

Rim sizes vary from 19-inch on the entry-level RWD variant to 21-inch on the top-spec AWD variant.
If the standard look isn’t your cup of tea, fret not, as iCaur does offer a host of customisation options for the V23, such as different grille designs and roof rails.

What powertrain does the 2026 iCaur V23 offer?
Starting with the entry-level RWD variant, it gets a rear-mounted electric motor that outputs 136 PS and 180 Nm, powered by a CATL-sourced 59.93-kWh LFP battery pack. This battery pack enables a NEDC range of up to 360 km. The RWD V23 takes roughly 11 seconds to complete the 0-100 km/h sprint, before reaching a top speed of 140 km/h.
Then there’s the AWD (iWD) variant, which adds a front motor that brings the combined system output to 211 PS and 292 Nm. The bump in power output shaves the 0-100 km/h time to 7.5 seconds.

The AWD variant also gets a larger battery pack, in this case a CATL-sourced 81.76-kWh NMC unit that enables a range of up to 430 km (NEDC). Said NMC pack also takes up to 104 kW of DC fast charging, bringing the battery from 30% to 80% state-of-charge (SoC) in 20 minutes. AC charging, regardless of variant, is capped at 6.6 kW.

The off-road, rugged theme is also carried into the cabin of the 2026 iCaur V23. There are chunky knobs for the climate control and infotainment system, as well as a Drive Mode selector knob. Other physical controls include a programmable shortcut button, air-cond recirculation control, hazard light, as well as front and rear demister control.

Speaking of the infotainment system, the 2026 iCaur V23 gets a massive 15.4-inch touchscreen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Audio is routed through a 7-speaker sound system.

Other interior equipment include 3 USB-C ports, tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, column-mounted gear lever, power-adjustable driver seat with 6-way adjustment, power-adjustable passenger seat with 4-way adjustment, automatic climate control with PM2.5 air filtration, 6 airbags, stability control, and traction control.
Owners can also customise the interior of their V23 with various add-ons, such as a multi-function meter, integrated dashcam, and mobile phone holder.
What else do I need to know about the 2026 iCaur V23?
Befitting of its Born to Play tagline, the 2026 iCaur V23 will be offered in several fun colours, namely Army Green, Carbon Crystal Black, Khaki White, Slate Silver, and Off-Road Orange – arguably the best shade for the V23.
The launch should be just around the corner, given that bookings are now opened.
