The Proton Saga MPV wasn’t the only model that rendering whizz Theottle rendered recently, as he also rendered what he thinks another facelifted Perodua Bezza could look like.

Here, he gave the facelifted Bezza the front fascia of the recently-launched Perodua Traz, though adapted for the Bezza’s narrower body. Wheel size, according to Theottle, has been increased to 16 inches, which help to fill the Bezza’s wheel arches a bit better than before.

Ditto that for the rear-end of this particular facelifted Bezza, as Theottle gave the A-segment sedan a pair of wider tail lights, in an effort to reduce the tall-body look of the current Bezza. There’s also a new rear bumper that freshens up Perodua’s current best-selling model.

As a brief recap, a recent interview between Careta and Perodua President and CEO Dato’ Seri Zainal Abidin Ahmad, he revealed that the current generation Perodua Bezza will soldier on in its current form until 2030 and that there’s no new model planned to be launched in the near future.

That said, Perodua’s technical partner, Daihatsu has reached back to Perodua to discuss development of the new Bezza and Myvi, according to the podcast. He mentioned that the development discussion came at a late stage, so we can’t get the new models out before 2030.

The current-generation Perodua Bezza was introduced back in 2016 as Perodua’s first-ever attempt at a sedan model. This A-segment sedan received its first facelift back in 2020, which added Perodua’s Advanced Safety Assist 2.0 (ASA 2.0) ADAS suite.

At the time of writing, the Perodua Bezza is priced between RM 36,580 for the entry-level 1.0 G variant, to RM 49,980 for the top-spec 1.3 AV variant.
