
GWM Malaysia has accomplished a record-breaking sales period within the first half of 2025, as total sales have beaten the entirety of 2024 in just six months.
It marks a 20.3% increase in sales compared to 2024 and puts GWM Malaysia into the right momentum for the second half of the year.

Roslan Abdullah, Chief Operating Officer of GWM Malaysia said, “This isn’t just about numbers; it’s about momentum and meaning. Our growth shows that Malaysians are embracing our vision of cars that combine innovation, value, and relevance to their everyday lives.”

Additionally, the Haval H6 HEV has emerged as the leading hybrid choice for Malaysians. Instead of engaging in a price war with its rivals, GWM Malaysia has shifted their focus on delivering safety, innovation, and a premium driving experience.

The Haval H6 HEV’s credentials are also back by real-world results, as this C-segment SUV recently entered the ASEAN Book of Records as the First Hybrid SUV in ASEAN to Achieve the Longest Verified Real-World Driving Distance.

GWM Malaysia is also offering the Haval H6 HEV with RM 6,600 worth of savings and an upgraded 10-year HEV battery warranty – the former is a limited-time offer. Existing customers fret not, as the enhanced warranty is also extended to existing Haval H6 HEV owners.
In terms of dealer network, GWM Malaysia has increased its network from 18 outlets in early-2024 to 26 by mid-2025. The company plans to reach 35 outlets by end-2025.

Last but not least, GWM Malaysia has also confirmed that they will introduce two more models later this year – the first is the Ora Good Cat GT, which was teased a couple of months ago, while the second could likely be the GWM Wey 80 – a premium PHEV MPV.
