Like clockwork, JPJ has released its latest data for October 2025. Similar to last month, we will dive into the top-10 best-selling Chinese EVs in Malaysia.
Sitting at the top spot is none other than the Proton eMas 7. For 10 consecutive months, the Proton eMas 7 has held on to the top spot in the sales chart, with 742 units sold last month. Year-to-date (YTD) sales figure for the eMas 7 is at 6,954 units.
Trailing in second place is the BYD Atto 3. Despite being one of the older models in our list, customers still love the Atto 3, with a total of 464 units finding new home last month. YTD figure for the Atto 3 is at 3,128 units.
In third place is the BYD Sealion 7, which dropped from second place last month. Last month, BYD sold 433 units of the Sealion 7, bringing the YTD figure to 3,142 units.
Fourth spot is a new entrant in the form of the BYD Seal 6 EV. Launched in late-September, the BYD Seal 6 EV is now the third best-selling BYD model in Malaysia, dethroning some of its siblings. Last month, BYD sold 386 units of the new EV sedan, with a YTD figure of 444 units.
Sitting in fifth is the BYD Atto 2. Like the Seal 6, the Atto 2 is also a new addition to BYD’s local line-up. A total of 325 units were sold in October, with YTD figure at 1,076 units.
Number six on our list is also a newcomer, in the form of the Zeekr 7X. The Zeekr 7X was launched here in late-August, and has since sold 323 units last month. YTD figure for the Zeekr 7X is at 557 units.
As for seventh place, it goes to the iCaur 03. Like the Seal 6, the iCaur 03 is also a newcomer to our list, with 310 units sold in October – a rather impressive feat. YTD sales figure for the iCaur 03 is at 345 units.
In eighth spot is the Xpeng G6, with 120 units sold in October. Sales of the model spiked in October, as that was when Bermaz introduced the facelifted G6 here. YTD sales figure of the G6 is at 647 units.
Following that is the BYD M6, in ninth spot. Last month, BYD sold 88 units of this EV MPV, bringing the YTD sales figure to 1,349 units.
The tenth spot goes to the Denza D9, with 82 units sold in October. YTD sales figure for the Denza D9 is at 932 units.
